Q: Can you provide an overview of your role as a full-stack developer at Webschool and how your expertise in AI contributes to the development of innovative solutions?
A: As a full-stack developer, I spend my time building our main product, bringapps. I develop the entire lifecycle to implement the interesting features users need to enhance their learning and teaching processes. When the team defines a new feature they want to add, my task is to find the best way to implement both the front-end and back-end. First, I create the design
proposed by our team and then proceed to implement the connection between the frontend and our database through our API. Finally, I test the implementation to ensure the feature works well. Thanks to AI, we have built tools that empower our users to dynamically create content in seconds. They can create entire courses, tests, or any type of content on any topic, including definitions, audios, images, activities, and more. All of these things are built
from scratch.
Q: AI plays a crucial role in the Bringapps suite. Could you explain how AI technology is incorporated into the various services offered by Bringapps, such as the Authoring Lab or the Speaking Lab? How does it enhance the user experience and learning outcomes?
A: AI is an important and revolutionary tool that is now accessible to anyone who wants to improve people’s lives. With our AI-powered tools, trainers can create learning content within seconds. Suppose you want to create a new course on a specific topic, but you don’t have activities, examples, images, or other resources. Instead, you have articles or files in formats like PDF. Our Authoring Lab allows you to extract keywords from any text, create a glossary
with these keywords, and generate definitions, activities, images, audios, and everything else needed to build a complete course. Imagine wanting to assess your students’ pronunciation in a particular language. Our Speaking Lab can generate audios from text, allowing students to record their pronunciation
and improve it with feedback.
Q: Webschool has recently launched the Bringapps suite, a comprehensive set of services for the education sector. Can you share some insights into the development process? What were the key challenges faced during the launch, and how did the team overcome them?
A: This suite is designed to cater to the needs of teachers and learners, providing features such as learner and teacher management. One of the key highlights of the product is its ability to dynamically generate content for courses using AI technology.
